This policy explains how this website and the Aqualine game handle information, in simple terms.
Aqualine saves your progress (levels completed, best moves, weekly points and badges) and your settings in your browser’s local storage on your device. We do not receive it unless you create an optional account: then your email address and a copy of your progress are also stored online by Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) so you can restore it on another device. You can log out or delete your account in the game’s Settings, which deletes the online copy. Clearing your browser data removes the copy on your device.
When you visit, our hosting provider and your browser exchange technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This site may show ads provided by Google (for example Google AdSense and AdSense for Games). Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies, and may process information such as your IP address, browser and device details and how you interact with ads. This is used to show, measure and limit ads, to prevent fraud and, where allowed, to personalise ads. We do not control how Google processes this data. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services in its own privacy information.
If rewarded ads are offered, you only see one if you choose to watch it, for example to get a free hint. The same advertising information described above may be processed.
